A tiny piece of the natural world, preserved to wear.
Each ring features a real resurrection fern frond, carefully pressed and preserved by hand against a deep black background. The fern is set beneath clear resin in an ornate, vintage-inspired setting, creating the look of a miniature botanical specimen or Victorian naturalist’s keepsake.
Resurrection fern (Pleopeltis michauxiana) is native to the southeastern United States and can often be found growing along the limbs of live oaks and other trees. During dry weather, its fronds curl and appear lifeless—then unfurl and turn green again after rain.
Details: Antique gold finish • real pressed resurrection fern • clear resin • adjustable band • approximately 21.5 mm round setting • each botanical specimen is naturally unique.
The setting is plated with 24k gold and then oxidized to create its aged antique finish.
Handmade by Roots Floral Preservation in Louisiana.
Please note: Because we work with real botanical material, no two rings will be identical. Natural variations in shape, color, and markings are part of each specimen.
