Restoration and Repair Fee

Occasionally, we receive requests to preserve flowers that are months to years old. We are still able to make keepsakes out of these items for you, but we do have to charge a fee for the additional labor. 

The Tiers are as follows:

1) Standard Conditioning (most common)

For flowers that are slightly to moderately degraded, outside of the 3-5 day drop-off window

Examples:

• drooping petals

• browning edges

• uneven drying

• bruising

• minor shattering

• minor color loss

This covers:

• gentle rehydration

• petal reshaping

• drying correction

• edge trimming

• basic color rebalancing

• normal handling risk

  2) Advanced Reconstruction

  Examples:

  • petals detached

  • centers collapsing

  • multiple blooms damaged

  • significant browning

  • blotchy or gray colors

  • mold spots

  • crushed arrangements

  This covers:

  • full disassembly

  • multiple days of stabilization

  • re-forming blooms

  • replacement of petals

  • blending pieces from multiple flowers

  • more aggressive color correction

    3) Critical Condition

    For flowers that arrived late, wet, rotten, frozen, or improperly stored

    Examples:

    • refrigerated too long

    • left in a car

    • sealed wet

    • fully wilted

    • blackened

    • mold spread

    • Critical condition flowers require intensive restoration. Results cannot be guaranteed. In these cases we will recommend that you reorder similar flowers from our family florist, The Flower Girl, and create keepsakes with flowers using the proper drying techniques.
